go together like a horse and carriage...so sex must be the yolk or ropes holding the two together. my question, if you marry and only one partner has had sex (prior to) and the other is bad...how do you fix it?

if both havent had sex they can grow and experiment together plus thres nothing to compare it to so...its the best youve ever had regardless...
if a man has had sex and the woman has not, well she can be easily taught to move properly, its like riding a bike (or a horse) once you can do it, you can do it...
but in the instance the woman is eh hmm experienced, and the man is not...how do you tell/teach/guide without completely killing his ego and do you just suffer through sloppy consumation on a regular basis for the rest of your life because youve got love and marriage?

Let the weak say I am strong

For the past week or so I have had the verse from Joel "Let the weak say I am a Warrior" ESV (3:10) and the lyric from Youthful Praise TFT Medley (and may other songs and Bible translations) "Let the weak say I am strong" stuck in my head.

I have been spouting the words to everyone else but had yet to really get it in my spirit.  The Power of words. Life and death is truely in the power of the tongue, the word of God is Alive and Full of Power.

I can go around saying "Im broke" thats reality, however with this the reality is the weak say they are strong and they are strong. The Lord calls them to prepare their weapons and say they are warriors and to fight as such. There's no sugar coating the fact that they are weak. but in the moment that they say they are warriors they are warriors and are called to fight.

so while yesterday I was broke, it is now time to prepare my budget and say "I am rich".
while yesterday I was sick, it is now time to take up my bed and say I am healed.
while yesterday I was weak, it is now time to prepare my weapons and say I AM A WARRIOR.

This past weekend I went away with my lover. I went on a trip to the International Prayer and Fasting Center in High Point, NC as apart of a "program" in my church called the "encounter." because an experience with God can easily be forgotten but an encounter will last forever.

I met God in that place and there is really no other way for me to describe it then to say you have to go, even if you think youre free now you have to go. I am beyond free to worship at this point in my life. dont get it twisted there is still stuff we need to work on (God and I) but I trust Him to handle it and to help me crucify my flesh daily lest I try to take back control.

i wrote this banging poem about a man voice, and how the depth reaches to the depths of the soul and how one can be felt with all senses and then flipped to the womans man voice first thing in the morning, "i saed good morning to ya..."

Today at work I had a conversation about masterbation.

well it started out about a conversation about porn (typical table talk)
then it turned into,
"I dont need porn because I have my BOMB"
"BOMB?"
"Beat Off Memory Bank"
"I need to figure out a way to work that into my vocabulary, even though I dont masturbate"
"You dont what"
"masturbate"
"right, you dont what?"

The conversation proceeded to something like, you should..get this dildo...dont you get bored...it relieves stress...

so it got me thinking, is masturbation that common? the answer is 'yes' of course. but in a culture of purity rings, where waiting until marriage isnt necessarily common but is accepted...why is masturbation still the everyday? Why am I looked at as foreign if I choose not to do it?

theres nothing wrong with it, I just want to know what you think.

To protest is to actively express an objection to something you are otherwise powerless to prevent with the intention of change.

Martin Luther King, Jr. led successful protests

To protest is to declare disapproval in the hopes of altering a system that is considered unjust

Angela Davis led successful protests

To protest is to take responsibility for your plight and to fight to make your life what it should be, what it was promised to be.

The Civil Rights Movement consisted of successful protests

If the purpose of protests and political action were simply to get an apology but with no promise of change or even an acknowledgement of a deeper issue, then almost every protest at this university has been a successful one.

We have proven that a single public act in response to a racially charged event is futile- however we have also shown that a single public act is all we’re willing to commit.

Though the success of our protests is minimal at best, we have not changed the game- we have not changed our approach yet we expect the student body, the administration to react to us differently.

If the powers that be notice that every time a cultural group rises up in protest all they have to do in response is say, “sorry…my bad. I didn’t realize that was blatantly racist, sexist, classist, homophobic, etc. …until you, the powerless, brought it to my attention,”

If all it takes is an apology then the Cav Daily should be able to just print the same one at the beginning of each year “we’re going to offend you at some point, sorry” because it happens every year whether it is an error on the part of the Cav Daily, an unevenly applied dress code, a racist frat house, or one too many Blacks resulting in way too many cops. As long as we let it go the next week , as long as the fight ends after an apology is given, a retraction is printed, or an innocent Black man is let go. Nothing will change

Would the gay community stop protesting after a gay bashing, just because the school said sorry and pat lampkin sent an email warning students, even though the suspect had not been caught or even looked for? No, but that’s what the black community did when Daisy Lundy was attacked.

Sure there was uproar at first but the students graduated and unfortunately the fight graduated with them.

Well “one thing I don’t need is anymore apologies”

you think because you were born more ¾ of a man that that makes you whole? That all you need is an apology to heal your hurt? To heal your soul? To heal your self-esteem?

What we need is equality, it is clear that equity still hasn’t been reached but our presence at this university allows us to be narcissistic. because we’re here we no longer have to fight we‘ve made it. You cant expect us to do more We’ve got homework to do.

The feelings are valid and the people are ready to move, but the movements aren’t organized, the causes aren’t clear, the passion dies down and with it the fight.

The need for organization is not simply to get more people motivated and involved but so that a precedent is set and guidelines are laid. Administration knows we’ll graduate, they know a racist columnist, comic, biology student , or frat boy will graduate and with them the rowdy, the rabble rousers, the people who know how to fight.

They use this system of self governance to their advantage because they know every four years the cries will die out and they’ll never have to make moves towards bettering this community.

It is our responsibility by our, I mean students, humans, so called “equals” to be the change we want to see in the world. To see the change that needs to be seen at uva

The credibility of the argument is eaten away and degraded every time an apology quells our unrest. With each passing year students become more and more jaded because everyone’s aware that that’s all its going to take. that’s all that’s going to happen. John casteen is not affected, this university is not affected, the Black community isn’t affected, the perpetrators aren’t even affected. Its simply one more group of people to cross off the list “cant make fun of them anymore.” one more joke to throw out saying “too far” but continuing as if nothing happened

I am not calling for riots, I am not calling for sit-ins, I am asking for change. Change in the system begins with changing how we approach the system as a community.

With each passing year my will to fight dies down a little bit more because I want more than an apology, but I’ve got homework to do.

re: black people at UVA hate each other---you all can get as mad as you want but even though that cat is racist and ignorant he has a point.

We talk about how we need to unite and show administration and whoever the hell else that we belong here too and they should make strides to accomodate us and make this a better place for the minorities but for what? so we can turn on each other and be petty punk ass bitches and write about and degrade each other, and drag each other through the mud the first chance we get?

youre in college, be about your business and do what you can to not be in everyone elses. im sorry if somebody burned you or did you wrong in the past but go talk to them about it and stop airing your grievances in mixed company. this site is nothing more than an electronic burn book, how old are you? what does it say about you when you get your kicks from writing and/or lying about someone elses sexual escapades?

all youre doing is perpetuating stereotypes, youre acting like bitches and hoes and niggers how are you going to get mad when people outside the community continue to refer to you as such? we can no longer complain about racist comics or sketches etched into desktops because as much as you claim to love your people and unite when theres a reason to march you hate yourself and you hate your brothers and sisters. what the hell good is it, us standing next to each other in a protest talking about we shall not be moved when as soon as the moment passes and the hostility is quelled and the administration tells us ONCE AGAIN that they cant do anything, you stab me in the back as we walk away?

i was visiting my friends, there were 4 of us. we pulled into her parking lot and there was this really creepy White man walking around, we chilled in the car for a while then noticed he was kind of walking in circles and looking into the car.

they kind of freaked out, i mean it was weird but there were 4 of us and 1 of him so i was less freaked out...but thats beside the point...he walked into the field-directly across from her front door- and just kind of stood near the bushes and looked into the car...so we got the hell out of there

we called the police at about 8:15pm...to a nice upscale townhouse property (though it is somewhat near the hood) i mean presidents drive...thats nice

anyway they couldnt find the address in their database (even though mapquest knows where it is) we said "### presidents drive" ..."uhm we have constitution" well i can see how thats related but no dumb ass thats not the same thing...anyway we proceed to tell her that a white man in jeans and a dark shirt was lurking in the bushes...can you send someone out...this was quite literally the longest 911 conversation ever- i mean that ive ever been a witness to

we said this twice

about 45 mins to an hour go by and we get a call from a cop...we've already gone back to her house and moved on...he says "i just got the call, i dont see anyone out here...did you say a black man in a white shirt?"

wtf ?!? idk if youre dyslexic or racist man but as long as its taken you to get here and not help me i couldve been raped and murdered actually im answering the phone from the shallow grave ive been buried in- in the field adjacent to the house. thanks for your help.

i really gotta learn and get used to the fact that dectectives benson and stabler arent real life cops. dectective benson would have came and sat in the house with us until stabler found the guy and beat the hell out of him...oh joy....actually if i were a cop i'd sue dick wolf for false advirtisement

I apologize for the tardiness of this comment. First let me start by saying I love the View! I generally have to leave midway through to head to class but I try to DVR (I dont know how I survived without this) it whenever possible. DVR is also the reason why this comment comes so late as I was just able to watch Monday's(02.02.09) show.

My main reason for responding is for the guy who claimed/blamed the Media for Barack Obama being elected president and said they ruined Sarah Palin in the process. First off this guy was rude so that annoyed me to begin with but more importantly he skirted the issues, ignored questions he could answer and let Elisabeth fight his battles for him - which I understand I would too, she's feisty.

When asked why he blames the media when Sarah Palin doesnt seem to in the clip he showed he said, "look at the website," when asked why he doesnt stand up for Hillary the same way he does for Palin, he said "look at the website or wait three weeks and go see it." What? why are you on TV? its not like youre speaking for the movie or saying anything of importance, if I wanted to be told to wait for the movie you could have just shown the clip and had Elisabeth or Sherri say "wait for the movie"

One of his main points was that people/particularly the media idolized Barack and crucified Sarah...like she had nothing to do with the medias portrayal...he brought up a poll he did.

a 12 question poll...seriously? when did that become enough for accurate information?

anyway his point for bringing up the poll was that one of the questions most people answered correctly was "Which of the candidates had a pregnant teenage daughter?" saying that people cared more about the goings on of Palins private life over her collegues'- but really? everyone knows Sasha and Melia...they're in the spotlight just as much if not more...theyre obviously not pregnant or teenagers...Biden? everyone knows he has sons...if he has a daughter thats news to me and most people I know...and McCain? he's 487 he would have to have been having sex at his centennial in order to have a teenage daughter..so even if I didnt follow the election by process of elimination Im going to get that right.

I agree that the media played a huge role in getting Barack Obama elected and did a lot to negatively affect public opinion of Sarah Palin. But for very different reasons. Barack Obama new how to use the media and take advantage of the different venues to reach the public, I saw just as many negative ads for him as I did for McCain (depending on what channel I watched) but there were many more positive ones for Obama because he chose to speak-its what he does.
Sarah Palin, probably should have chose not to more often. yes interviews are edited and altered to suit the needs of the station or correspondant but stuff people saw/heard...she actually did/said...same crap happened with Joe Biden- but somehow thats different.

since this is a random rant let me also say that Im still pissed about that Joe the Plumber nonsense! that fool wasnt even a plumber. booooo joe. booooooo
